Three days to find a new rhythm
Three days to re-connect, re-orient and re-organise
Three days to embark on a long term journey
Wednesday 23 June
Growth dictates our political, economic and technological decisions. We need to do more, faster, in the name of infinite progress. And yet, this accelerationism is clearly not compatible with planetary equilibrium.
How to thrive under constraints?
- Can we transform our development models to make them more sustainable?
#post-growth #doughnuteconomics #sustainabletourism #purpose #values
- Should we accept a form of finitude, and therefore give up?
#degrowth #closing #death #mourning
With Riel Miller, Kate Raworth, Hélène L’Heuillet.
Thursday 24 June
Long termism is rooted in collaboration. Citizens, companies, associations, states: everyone has a role to play in bringing about political and economic systems that are more supportive and sustainable.
HOW TO BUILD NEW ALLIANCES AND COLLABORATIONS?
- Organizations: how to embody collaboration, externally and internally?
- Territories: how to facilitate multi-actor and resilient governance?
- Citizens: how to find one’s place in the decisions of public and private organisations?
#civictech #citizenengagement #intersectionality #solidarity
With Roman Krznaric, Javi Creus
FRIDAY 25 June
Investing in the long term means changing our modes of action. Leaving behind a dualistic vision that places Man and Reason at the centre to embrace deep ecology and reconnect with ourselves, the others and the world.
HOW CAN WE CULTIVATE OUR INTER-DEPENDENCIES?
- How do we connect to the world: a commons to be nurtured rather than a resource to be exploited?
- How do we connect with others and ourselves, and overcome our cultural divides?
- How can we understand and interpret our relationship to the media and information, and therefore to the world?
With Indy Johar, Lene Rachel Andersen, Yves Citton, Julia Cagé
And during the three days…
Mind and body experiences, exhibitions, art performances, residencies, parties, etc.
Experiences and performances all day long >
Ouishare Fest Bookshop
Come and meet La Malle aux Histoires, our unique bookshop at Ouishare Fest! You will find there all the references and authors to read to deepen the topics discussed during the Festival.
Intimate photographic bubble
A photographer is hanging around at Ouishare Fest. She will ask you to tell her one of your life stories where you have been very happy. As a result, you reconnect with yourself and your emotions; you call upon your past to live the present more intensely. This experience will be offered on Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm.
What is your relationship with time?
Claire Lebleu, producer of the podcast Le Bon Tempo, will come to meet and hear you deconstruct – and reconstruct – your relationship with time. Lend your voice to her microphone and make time an ally! Every day between 5pm and 7pm
Ouishare Fest time bank
Throughout the fest, the Compagnie Générale des Autres and Ouishare are opening a time bank. The principle is simple: you give an hour and you have the right to an hour with another Ouishare Fest participant. You can express a need or a wish ; they will take care of the rest.
Become one of Ouishare Fest artists
Is time on your side right now? Or are you living a race against the clock? Come and share your sensitive relationship to time and contribute to a colourful and collective piece of art imagined by the TAMA Collective. See you at the entrance of the festival!
